Is that degree getting you a job?

The university experience is a time of learning, not simply a structure for academia.

Not only are questions proposed in the formal educational setting, but also the personal lives of all participants. Luckily, there are many people that can help on the mission from unknowing to knowing and all stages in between.

Student services includes course advising, personal counselling, career planning and placement, disability services, and the academic skills centre, which offers a learning specialist, a writing specialist, and a math specialist and tutors.

The student services department at Brandon University is one of the most vital places for students finding answers in all spectrums of life, from choosing courses or majors to family problems, and temporary or long-term physical or mental disabilities to finding part-time work or graduate programs.

Student services are included in mandatory student fees at a rate of $3.15 per credit hour.

The student services’ office is located in room 105 in the A.E. McKenzie Building. Further information about the services offered can be found at http://www.brandonu.ca/student-services/.
