The Brandon University’s Varsity Christian Fellowship (or VCF) is a student led interdenominational Christian club that provides support, engagement and faith-based opportunities for all students regardless of background. VCF offers a safe and recreational environment to meet new people, explore Christianity and have mutual support in a community of like-minded Christians. Meetings are held every Monday at 7:30pm in room 203 in the Education Building; consisting of bible study and discussion, worship, prayer, snacks, and mingling. The meetings are open to everyone, not exclusively university students. Attendance does not have to be on a regular basis; it can be once, twice or whenever life’s busy schedule allows.

Weekly events provide attendees with the opportunity to explore the Bible and develop their faith. Currently, sessions are devoted to studying the book of John, with special attention to the life of Jesus. In addition to faith-based activities, the Varsity Christian Fellowship is dedicated to maintaining a community. Outside of bible study, relationships are built through regular nights out as a group. These informal outings frequently include movies, coffee, skating and game nights. VCF recognizes that belonging to a close-knit community of Christians is also important to cultivating faith.

Questions about the organization or how to get involved can be directed to Victoria at vcf.club@busu.ca. For more information, send a message or like VCF on Facebook at fb.me/brandonuvcf.
