The 2016/2017 school year is coming to a close, which means the time to register for spring and summer 2017 courses is here. Beginning Monday, March 6th, students are able to register online for courses for the spring and summer 2017 semesters.

Spring semester runs from May 1st to June 22nd, and is split into two terms, May 1st through 18th, and June 5th through 22nd. Courses running during this time include Introduction to Philosophy, Creative Writing, University Writing, Canada to Confederation, Canada Since Confederation, and Introduction to Logic amongst other Arts and Business required courses, and Education and Health Studies courses and practicums. The Faculty of Education also provides a number of online courses for the benefit of those students fulfilling their student teaching requirements.

The summer semester runs from July 4th to August 21st, and is split into two terms, July 4th through July 24th, and July 31st through August 21st. The summer courses running during first term include Rural Tourism (in three different slots), World History to 1500, and Introduction to Managerial Accounting, while second term only includes one course, World History Since 1500. Courses offered for both terms include a special education internet course, an archaeological field school, and a Health Studies practicum.

Spring and summer courses are a wonderful opportunity to for students to focus on one course at a time, or who have scheduling conflicts during the regular term.
