Is the Manitoba summer too hot for you? Well, you’re in luck! Get ready, Westman—Brandon is about to get splashed by the Great Big Sea!

On June 17th, Newfoundland folk/rock group Great Big Sea announced they will be hitting the Wheat City as a part of their “XX” Tour 2013. Brandon’s Keystone Centre will play host to the group on October 30th, 2013, with tickets becoming available for purchase at 10:00 am on June 21st.

Neil Thomson, Keystone General Manager, expressed excitement for the upcoming show. “We’re keeping the year of concerts alive in Brandon; these guys have been here before, they know how to please and engage an audience. And with the new stage, sound system and set-up in Westman Communications Group Place, Great Big Sea is sure to put on an awesome concert. It’s going to be a great party!”

“XX” Tour marks the celebration of their 20th anniversary, and the release of their newest album of the same title, also commemorating two decades of musical achievement that earned them both national and international fame.
