Are you looking for a chance to kick back and have a blast with family and friends, and take advantage of the small window of warm weather Brandon can expect later this week? If so, the 2013 Manitoba Summer Fair is the place to be!

Kicking off Wednesday, June 5th at the Keystone Centre, this year’s festivities include the annual Battle of the Bands competition, and Chrome in the Trees, a chance for car-enthusiasts to showcase their “classic cars, rat-rods, hot rods and everything in between.” Other family friendly events include the Extreme Canines Stunt Dog Show, which will feature incredible stunts seen on the Oprah Winfrey show, Nickelodeon, and Ellen DeGeneres, and travelling comedians and magicians Ariel and Rochelle performing as “¿Qué Bolá? Magic”. As the week comes to a close and weekend fever kicks in, you can unwind at the Manitoba Summer Fair Saloon with Nuthin But Trouble, Tangle Box and local DJ’s on Friday and Saturday evening.

With each day at the fair promising a something special and unique, picking a single day to go could be tricky. The best chance to make great summer memories is likely during the weekdays, according to weather projections. Temperatures are expected to climb steadily all week and peak on Friday at 20˚C, with showers and temperatures in the mid-teens predicted for Saturday and Sunday.

Advance Pay-One-Price tickets are available for purchase at Sobeys and Shoppers Mall for only $36, which includes entrance fees and unlimited rides, until June 5th at 4:00 pm. There are also special ticket offers available at the gate.

All the sights and sounds of the 2013 Manitoba Summer Fair are yours for the taking until Sunday, June 9th, so don’t miss out!
