World Suicide Prevention Day

The Brandon Suicide Prevention Implementation Network is holding an event on Tuesday, September 10th to observe World Suicide Prevention Day.

The event will be held in the foyer of Brandon City Hall from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm to recognize individuals and organizations who actively support those bereaved by suicide and support those that struggle with living by helping all people reconnect with their reasons to live while building lives with dignity, purpose, and meaning.

The event is free of charge and open to all members of the public.

Refreshments, displays, and information will all be available.

Additionally, a free SAFE Talk session teaching people how to talk and listen to individuals who maybe expressing suicidal ideation. The session will be held at the Elspeth Reid Family Resource Centre from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Tuesday, September 10th.
